Launch of SHEU INTERNATIONAL
Since joining IEL the Social and Health Evaluation Unit (SHEU) has completed a number of externally funded programme evaluations in the areas of learning disability, community safety, social care, early years’ education, higher education; and dementia support.
A new branch of SHEU was established in 2011 at Buckinghamshire New University and a branch at the University of Pecs, Hungary is about to be launched.
The Unit now has branches in Ireland, England, Canada and Hungary. This allows the unit’s projects to have a comparative international dimension. To signal this activity and capability the unit will now be known as SHEU INTERNATIONAL.
